Chemical Cleaning and Water Hygiene

Chemical de-scaling is carried out whilst working under strictly controlled conditions in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.

For most items of plant we would use a closed circulation method for chemical de-scaling, at ambient temperature, with a filtered sediment tank and pump set.

Steam and hot water boilers, calorifiers, condensers, copper tube heat exchangers, cylinders, cooling circuits and many other items exposed to hard water scale can be restored at a fraction of the replacement cost. Low Water content modular boiler units are stripped and chemically cleaned on fire and water circulation sides by submersion in our tank and pump set. These works are carried out in our workshops if site conditions are unsuitable.

A full anti bacteria Sterilisation Service of existing hot or cold water services, including the distribution pipework, is available as a one off or part of a PPM program.

New systems are sterilised at the commissioning stage and Chlorination certificate issued.

Cooling towers are carefully monitored and sterilised within the Planned Preventative Maintenance program offered by Maracom.

After cleaning, plant would be tested and certificates issued for the relevant inspecting authorities.
